The 2020 Tour de France is the 107th edition of the Tour de France. The current Tour de France General Classification champion is Egan Bernal from the Team Ineos team.
The Tour de France was first raced in 1903 and is held annually. The Tour de France is part of the European Grand Tour along with the Giro d’Italia and Vuelta De Espana.
The 2020 Tour de France has 21 stages and 22 teams. The Tour de France winners are devided into classifications:
- General Classification – Yellow Jersey – The winner of the Tour de France by overall combined time.
- Mountains Classification – Polka Dot Jersey – The King of the Mountains with the most overall points in the mountain stages.
- Points Classification – Green Jersey – The top sprinter with the most overall points in the sprint stages.
During the race the leader in each classification wears the above colour jersey.
